Berkeley, Rhode Island 1984 in a tiny little General Store Elizabeth’s Shoppe came into existence, with the intent to provide quality gifts and decorative home accessories. For the first 25 years of my working career I was a designer in a flower shop and having a desire for a very long time to own my own business, I opened and very quickly my business grew, moving to three different locations before settling at our current location with almost 2,000 square feet of space offering country & primitive necessary accessories at 2352 Mendon Road, Cumberland, RI.

We wanted a gift shop that our customers would feel comfortable shopping in, and we think after all these years we have finally done it. Our customers constantly tell us whether they are shopping for a large primitive hutch or a scented candle; they find the experience a very calming and stress free one.

We carry and have available a large selection of primitive and country furniture, the largest selection of quilts in the area, yelloware & redware pottery, country & primitive curtains, swags, shower curtains,  seasonal decorations, primitive wool rugs & runners, a great selection of candles and accessories. We have Period lighting including wood & tin chandeliers, wrought iron floor, table & wall lamps.  Always in stock and very popular, the star  bulbs & window lights.
